Diversity in Research Podcast
The Impact of Covid-19 on minority communities and what it means for Higher Education
Show Notes

In this episode, we discuss a recently published research report from Denmark which was looking at the impact of Covid-19 on minority communities. The results are surprising and demonstrate how discrimination and harassment can manifest in different ways and the ways in which this has been exacerbated during the pandemic. We discuss these findings and look at the ways in which this may have already impacted on the higher education sector, staff and students alike. We talk through what this means for diversity in research and why this is more important than ever.
